Jimmy Johns January Doubles Championships
Gary Rink & Charlie Harward only lost one set on their way to winning the Jimmy Johns January Doubles Championships. The winning team are regular players at Tonaquint tennis facility and proved to be too experienced and consistent for their younger rivals. In the finals they defeated Dan Krupicka and Richard Wigley 3-1, 3-1. Their semifinal with Jeremy Atkin and his brother-in-Law Shane was a spirited contest 3-1, 2-3, 3-0. In the consolations, Jeremy & Shane were unable to put away Sam Moyle and Sam Christensen as the Sam's came back and defeated them for a 1-3, 3-1, 3-1 victory.
