Madsens take Desert Spring Doubles Tournament

Two father and son teams squared off in the finals of the Spring Equinox Doubles Challenge on Saturday with Mike Madsen & Jake Madsen getting the win over Greg Bullock & Wayne Bullock 3-1, 3-2. The Madsen's came through the draw winning in the semifinals over Nate Awohi & Keith Johnson 3-1, 3-1 and in the quarterfinals over Dave Glendenning & Christina Forsyte 3-1, 3-0. Other players in the event were Jason Roberts, Stephanie Caplin, Perry Christensen, Miles Uri, Zach Foresyte and Devon Lungren. Due to a scheduling conflict with a High School Tennis tournament the field was limited to six teams disappointing many local and visiting players.
