RED HAWK CHAMPIONSHIPS
Wigley wins Red Hawk Championships

The Red Hawk Tennis Championships attracted 28 players with new entrants from Southern California, Salt Lake City, Sun Valley, Idaho and of course Southern Utah's best. Richard Wigley the #2 seed gained momentum from a spirited duel with Dixie's Jeremy Atkin winning 0-3, 3-2, 3-1 in the semifinals. This gave him the confidence to knock off the #1 seed, Wayne Bullock in the finals and repeat as Red Hawk Champion 3-1, 3-1. "I am so happy to win again!" Wigley said. "It is much harder to win these tournaments this year!" With the Fast/Format tennis program for 3 hours every court had intense and exciting action going on.

The Easter Doubles Open will be played on April 19th starting at 10:30AM at Tonaquint Park. Again the draw will be set at the court and play will begin immediately and be continuous until the winners are crowned.
