Atkin & Strange team up for Victory
Jeremy Atkin teamed up with Victor Strange to win the Summer Doubles Championships. This is Jeremy's first doubles title and shows Dixie's #1 player has the drive and desire to improve on every level. The final was an easy 3-1, 3-1 victory and an anti-climax to two great semifinals. Both semis went the distance with Jeremy & Victor getting by the team of Wayne Bullock and Marc Manuele 2-3, 3-1, 3-1. Sam Moyle & Richard Wigley knocked off the #2 seeds, Dylan Christensen & Jerry Amussen, 3-1, 2-3, 3-2 in an close and exciting match. Zak & Chris Burkley defeated Bryan Bullock and his partner Asher from SLC 3-1, 3-1. This was Zak's first doubles tournament and he and his father played a total of six matches to win the consolations.
