RED DESERT OPEN - Draw & Results
Richard Wigley def. Marc Manuele 3-2, 3-0 - It was a difficult final match for both players after tough semifinals. Marc def. Dan Krupicka 1-3, 3-0, 3-2 with both players having match points in the final game. In the other Semi Richard was able to win a tough defensive struggle with Mike Rankin 3-2, 3-2. They played one point with over 30 strokes in the first set with a deep backhand to the corner by Mike Rankin winning the point. Crystal Holt played four tough matches to win the Red Desert Open's Consolation Match. After a first round loss to Dan Krupicka 2-3, 0-3 she went on to defeat Stephannie Caplin 3-1, 3-0, Sam Moyle 3-2. 2-3, 3-2 and finally defeated Ron Daly 3-1, 3-0 for the Victory. The 16 draw Tournament went very well and was finished in three hours at 2:00pm making this the best way to play a tournament in one day.
