Orton wins the Desert Sky Open

ST. GEORGE: Topped seeded Kevin Orton on July 23 rd won the Desert Sky Open over rival Mike Schijf 3-1, 2-3, 3-2 in a very close match up keeping him in the 2005 points lead of Super Saturday Tennis. Orton defeated Mark Schoutens 3-1, 3-2 and Kyle Kezos 3-1, 3-0 to make it to the final while Schijf knocked off the eventual consolation winner Hunter Housley 3-1, 3-2.

On August 6 th The Black Rock Championships will take place at the Tonaquint Tennis Center. Players are requested to show up at 9:00 A.M. for the draw with competition beginning at 9:30 A.M.
