The match of the tournament found 59 year old Victor Strange a former professional tennis player in the 70's versus St. George's Kenny Burdick. Kenny knocked the top seed Dennis Fowler in the first round and was playing his best tennis and is proving his potential to become a tournament winner. The fast 3 game set format proves this is the way of the future for amatuer and semin-professional tennis. The format makes a player stay very focused all the way through the tournament and is a great training ground for all players. Kenny lost his focus in the final set to the more experienced pro 2-3, 3-2, 3-0. In The finals Victor's andrenalin from the win was not enough to overcome 5 time champion and points leader Richard Wigley who won 0-3, 3-0, 3-0.
